Ethically made by a small co-operative in the Himalayan mountains of India supporting the livelihood of the workers with fair salaries.

With an authentic design and the use of high quality local sheep wool from himalayan mountain sheeps, these beautiful shawls are created using ancient hand loom weaving techniques passed down through generations.

Each shawl is unique and feels warm, soft and nice on the skin.

☼ NATURAL FABRICS
Most of our Products are made with handwoven fabrics and natural dyes which make each piece beautifully unique in color, texture and look.

The Himalayan Pure wool shawls are the perfect blend of art and fashion to keep you cozy in the evening, winter months and is a perfect addition to any outfit.

When you learn and get to experience the sheer degree of detail and skill that is poured into every handwoven shawl, you begin to appreciate the beauty of the workmanship. No wonder it has been practiced across generations of cottage weaver-families native to the Himalayas.

These shawls are 80% Wool wool with 20% polyester. The reason why polyester is used for the boarder is because it eliminates fade, which ensures the integrity of the color. If you are looking for 100% Pure wool that is possible with a small increase of price and some extra time to create.

Please note that the sizing can vary up to 0.5 in as some discrepancies can occur during the hand-loom process.

Washing Instructions:
It is recommended to hand wash with soft detergents and hang dry. These items are delicate and done by hand and not meant to be machine washed or placed in a dryer. If you accidentally spilled something like coffee or wine on it, run that area of the item under cold water. Once the stain has been washed out give it a gentle ring out and place it somewhere it will get a lot of air and make sure to flip periodically until it dries.
